Domain & Branding Analysis.

A product's name and domain choice are critical for branding. I analyzed the addresses used today to see how founders are positioning their new businesses.

• Name Length: On average, project names have 15.8 letters.
• House Parts (Subdomains): 26% of projects are built inside a "sub-room" of a larger site.
• Hyphen Names (-): 16% of people used a dash to separate their words.
• Luxury Names (.com/.ai): 43% of projects used the high-end addresses.
• Name Structure: 2% used a single word, while 18% used two words combined into one.

Many modern startups are choosing unique, combined words to ensure their name is memorable and the domain is available.

Launch & Pricing Strategies.

Launching a product involves strategic choices like using waitlists or offering open-source code. I tracked these markers to see how today's founders are entering the market.

The analysis detected these common launch patterns:

• Helper Tools (Add-ons): 2% are little helpers that live inside other apps.
• New vs. Improved: 2% are improved versions of older ideas.
• Just for You (B2C): 2% are made for your house and hobbies.
• Free Projects: I found 8 projects that are totally free to use.
• Whose Idea Was It?: I saw 5 people working alone and 1 working in teams.

It seems that "Open Source" (sharing the recipe) is becoming a very popular way to build trust with new users right from day one.

Technology Stack Analysis.

The tools used to build a product—known as the "Tech Stack"—says a lot about its complexity and scalability. I scanned titles for mentions of popular technologies and frameworks.

Today's technical landscape looks like this:

• Branded Building Blocks: 10% of projects mentioned their tools in their main title.
• Phone vs. Computer: 7% were designed specifically for mobile or desktop apps.
• Tools for Builders: 5% are making new tools for other people who build things.
• Keeping Secrets (Privacy): 1% focused on keeping your information safe.
• Robots (Automation): 14% use robots to do boring work automatically.
• Multiplayer Games: 4% let teams use the same screen at the same time.
• Easy-Build: 1% used special easy-to-use building kits.

The biggest technical takeaway from today is that everyone wants their projects to be "Smart" and "Automatic," reducing the amount of manual work a human has to do.

Most people still try to live in the .com neighborhood because it's the easiest one for people to find!

The data shows that 21:00 UTC was the peak launch hour, with 16 projects appearing. This suggests that timing your launch can be a key part of your strategy.
